Forage de géothermie profonde de la société VerdY

Un projet de forage est lancé au Chesnay-Rocquencourt, afin d’alimenter près de 18.000 foyers en énergie renouvelable. Le chantier a d’ailleurs reçu la visite du préfet du département, Frédéric Rose. Il devrait fournir de l'énergie au total à cinq communes, parmi lesquelles on retrouve Bailly, Bougival, Noisy-le-Roi et La Celle-Saint-Cloud.
